Updater failed with ERR_QUIC_PROTOCOL_ERROR, what should I do?
If you encounter the error message above in the status bar, during the in-app update process, please follow these steps:
1. Delete Updater Cache Files:
- Navigate to
~/Library/Caches/
and delete thecrates-updater
folder. - Restart Crates and try the update again.
2. Manual Update:
- If the error persists, you can manually download the latest version from our Download page.
- Make sure to fully quit both Crates and the Crates Server by selecting File Menu -> Quit App & Server before installing the update.
