Cosmin Nicolae

Hailing from Romania, Cosmin TRG is a Berlin-based artist, producer and DJ who emerged as a defining voice in European electronic music in the late 2000s - bridging UK bass, dubstep and leftfield house into driving, atmospheric techno across releases on Hessle Audio, Hotflush, Rush Hour and 50 Weapons. Under his birth name Cosmin Nicolae, his practice extends into cinema, theatrical scoring and visual art: short films selected for BIEFF, a commission for the BETA Architecture Biennale, scores for Robert Carsen productions and Staatsballett Berlin, and soundtrack contributions to films by Radu Jude and Theo Montoya. His debut feature, Body Territory, is currently in development with support from the Romanian Film Center.
Post-Workout is a deliberate exhale - music that inspires Sportiv, his record label with a brand new release out now, served up as a cool-down session.
