Dimitra Zina is a Berlin based curator, DJ and radio host at the centre of the city's jazz and soul scene and well beyond it. She's managed productions for Mulatu Astatke, Butcher Brown and Abdullah Ibrahim, served on the executive board of the Berlin Club Commission, and curated programmes for Worldwide FM, Radio Alhara, Stegi Radio and Refuge Worldwide. Her DJ sets have taken her to acclaimed venues and festivals such as XJAZZ!, Jazz Re:Found and Fotografiska Berlin. The through line is always the same: music that is equally timeless and contemporary.

Her playlist “Side B” follows her there - into the spaces where jazz, improvisation, broken rhythm and electronics blur into each other, taking off from familiar reference points and landing into unexpected destinations.
