TL;DR: Install the Crates browser extension, pair it with Crates, open your Bandcamp Collection page, click the extension, and start the import. Your purchases will appear under Online Libraries > Bandcamp.


Steps

      1. Install the extension for your browser:
      2. Click the extension to pair with your Crates installation. Go back to Crates desktop: a popup will open to approve the connection.


      3. Log in to Bandcamp and navigate to your Collection page: https://bandcamp.com/<your-bandcamp-username>

      4. Click the extension — a confirmation will be displayed



      5. Your purchased tracks and albums will be imported under Online Libraries > Bandcamp.

    Note: Crates will stream your purchases using Bandcamp’s embedded player by default.

    To enjoy full audio quality, download your purchases, enable Settings > General > ‘Match tunes’, and import the downloaded files. Crates will match them to the existing Bandcamp items and upgrade the default audio source to the local file.
    Some users prefer to first download their purchases, import in Crates, then enable the ‘Match tunes’ setting, and then import from Bandcamp.

  1. Drag and drop: Go to your browser on a bandcamp page, left-click and drag the link (url address) of the tune or release you want to import.
    Then while holding it go back to Crates (Cmd or Alt + Tab), and drop it on the crate you want to import it in. 

     

  2. Copy+Paste: Similarly, go to your browser on a bandcamp page, copy the url address (Cmd+C or Ctrl+C) and go back to Crates, click on the crate you want to import it, and then Paste (Cmd+V or Ctrl+V).
  3. Using the Browser Extension:
    First make sure you have the Chrome extension installed, or get it here
    (Safari extension is bundled when you install in Mac)While on the page of the tune or release, eitherclick the extension:
